History
EMBRACE was originally conceived and developed by a group of healthcare professionals who were tired of working in a broken healthcare system that seemed to be run by politicians and insurance companies rather than by doctors and public health experts. They called themselves Healthcare Professionals for Healthcare Reform (HPfHR).
EMBRACE was conceived by non-partisan healthcare professionals, not lawmakers, insurance companies or partisan think-tanks.
